BECOME A VIRTUAL ASSISTANT
Our process is transparent and designed so every qualified candidate has access to the same information and resources. Here is a complete walkthrough of each step, from your application to your first day on a medical practice.
THE PROCESS
Five steps, fully remote
The whole process happens online and typically takes 2 to 3 weeks from your first application to an offer. Here is what to expect at each step.
Apply online
Find an open role on our Workable portal and apply in under 5 minutes. No cover letter required. We will ask for your resume, contact details, time zone, and a few short questions about your background.

Interview and skills check
If your profile moves forward, you will be invited to a 30 to 45 minute video interview with our placement team. We talk about your background, your availability, and how you feel about remote work. You will also complete a short practical assessment for the role you applied to (medical terminology, EHR navigation, writing).

Decision and offer
After the interview, we complete background and professional reference checks. A senior panel reviews each finalist. If you receive an offer, you will hear from a recruiter with all the details: role, pay, hours, start date, and next steps.

HIPAA, security, and your practice's playbook
Before your first day, you will complete our in-house HIPAA and security training. Because we only hire experienced VAs with proven specialty backgrounds, EHR and clinical workflow training is led by your assigned practice. They know their tools, templates, and SOPs better than anyone. Once you are deployed, a dedicated account manager (your VA manager) is your day-to-day support.

Welcome to your practice
We match you to a single medical practice in your time zone. Our team runs a short practice-specific onboarding and you are live inside the EHR within two business days. No client juggling. You build real relationships with one team.

TIPS FROM THE TEAM
Tips from our virtual assistants
What current team members wish they had known when they applied.
Be yourself in the interview. The team genuinely wants to hear how you think and how you would treat a patient, not memorized answers.
Ask every question you have during training. Pod leads are senior VAs with years in the specialty and they are there to help you grow.
Treat your home setup like a real office. Stable internet, a quiet space, and a good routine make all the difference.
